While studying in the US, she was impressed
by how grooming was done speedily,
finishing each process in a short time to reduce the burden on the dogs.
After acquiring the technique there, she returned to Japan and invented
her own Speedtrimming® method to suit the Japanese dogs
and their charming styles.
Her service gained popularity, while she actively participated
in overseas contests and won numerous awards in various contests
including Groom Expo and Superzoo.
She has also worked as a contest judge in Japan and other Asian countries.
In 2018, she received an offer from Netflix to appear
in a documentary featuring a Japanese groomer competing
in the American contest. The documentary is aired online.
In 2019, she became a registered groomer to
represent Asia by the American company, andis.
